No matter the environment or design goal, our team delivers high-performance concrete systems that combine durability, safety, and aesthetic flexibility.

Polished concrete creates a sleek, durable floor with a natural or industrial look by mechanically grinding and refining the existing slab to achieve a smooth satin or high-gloss finish ideal for commercial and high-traffic spaces.

In recent years polished concrete has become the flooring of choice when a natural or industrial look is desired. It can be found in retail stores, schools, dining areas, worship centers, detention centers, airplane hangars, etc, New or old concrete is grinded with various passes in varying diamond and ceramic grits until the desired outcome is achieved. This is like the process of finishing a wood dining table for example with varying passes with sanding disks. The surface can be satin or shiny depending on the desired look. Polished concrete does have its draw backs in that old concrete will have areas the require patching during the grinding process. These patches will remain visible on close observation.

New concrete can also have its imperfections, and often small divots can occur during the construction of a building or space to be finished requiring patching. Concrete can be stained with a liquid dye during the polishing process. Many colors are available. Patterns such as borders or other shapes can be created including logos. The polished concrete finish can also have tiny salt and pepper like finish or small stones. Due to the heavy equipment involved such as concrete grinders, vacuums, and generators, polishing of small spaces such as small rooms, small hallways and janitor closet, is not recommended as the desired outcome is rarely achieved.
